Pre Season Jumping

March is often a slow month due to weather and ground (runway) conditions, and this year is no different. A few good jumps were made and some recurrency jumps done, but generally, the less than ideal conditions kept most people away

Snowfall Accuracy Meet

The Snowfall Accuracy Meet scheduled for March 3/4 weekend didn't get off the ground due to bad weather. Although the framework was set, Mother Nature wasn't kind to us. It's not the first time and I doubt it will be the last!

Blue Skies!

March 10/11th weekend was good, and after doing their tandem re-currency jumps Brian and Peter took up a number of tandem students. The video team was kept active as all of the tandems wanted video.

Leadership Continues...

March 17th saw another of Joe's leadership meetings with the group 'captains'. Discussions on where the DZ was headed and the skydive "community" were the main topics.

Instructor Reviews

Annual Tandem recurrency training, for the tandem instructors, is scheduled for March 31st at 9:00 am. Weather is supposed to be good, so hopefully many instructors will get their re-currency jumps out of the way and be ready for the season.

On another note

Marc D. will be leaving us for several weeks for sunny San Diego. We look forward to Marc's return for the busy summer season ahead. Marc D has found a good job here ...... so he's decided to stay around and keep flying with us.... way to go Marc !
