EVENTS
The weekend of August 25th we were honoured to have Mr. Derrick Walton host his Fund Raiser for ALS at our site. It turned out to be a rousing success and he ended up raising over $100,000 for ALS Research.
The event drew a crowd of 200 people and was covered by a local Radio Station and by a local Newspaper. We were honoured and excited to have in attendance some Toronto Argonaughts Football Players, but some local celebrities as well:
Mr. Brown - Member of Parliament
Mr. Gord Wauchorpe - Deputy Mayor of Innisfil
Bill Van Berkle - Innisfil Coucilman
The weather was not that cooperative, but finally, Derek and Lucas were able to complete their jump by 6:00 pm. Jeff Cooke did an excellent job on video and pictures.
Thanks to all that participated, but the event would not have been a success without the support of all Skydive Toronto Staff.
