For over a decade, Skydive Toronto has continued to be a strong advocate
in the accelerated growth of it's licensed jumpers.
Each year coaching and teaching staff positions become available, with Skydive Toronto Inc., for you to exponentially increase your own skills and to economically support your new interest.
Following the
Canadian Sport Parachuting Association
parameters, we host Coach 1, Coach 2, and Jump Master certification
courses each spring season. Please contact our office for registration and further information.

Coach 1:
- CSPA "B" CoP
- Observe role of a Coach 1 on the dropzone
- Pre-course sections of Coach 1 Workbook completed
- Review all skills in Stages 5 to 8 with PIM 2A
- The candidate must provide a video tape for evaluation on the course of a jump within the last 12 months (confirmed by a logbook entry and signed by the cameraman),
in which the following are demonstrated (as per PIM 2A) on the same jump (minimum 9,000
ft):
- Dive out to the camera (half second delay)
- Back Loop
- Front Loop
- Right Barrel Roll
- Left Barrel Roll
- Delta
- Back Slide
- 180º Turn and Track
- emphasis is on proper execution of each rotation and the precision of headings rather than the speed of rotations
- age of majority
Coach 2:
- Coach 1 certified
- CSPA "C" CoP
Jump Master:
- Coach 1 trained
- CSPA "B" CoP
- 125 jumps
- observe role of JM on two different loads
- Pre-course sections of JM workbook completed
Skydive School Instructor:
- Coach 1 trained
- CSPA "B" CoP
- 200 jumps
- possess a set of FJC lesson plans
- completed SSI Pre-course Journal to include:
- observe 2 FJC within the last year
- taught 2 modules of the FJC under direct supervision of a Senior Instructor, IB or certified SSI
- completed the online training module
