About Us
Skydive Toronto, also referred to as S.T.I., is one of the largest and finest
skydiving schools in Canada. It is located north of Toronto, Ontario one
of Canada's most adventurous cities.
Joe and Claire Chow
originally founded the skydiving school in Ottawa in 1972. For
15 years there, they trained first time jumpers and hosted many
Provincial and National competitions. From 1987 to 2005, Joe,
Claire and their daughter Jennifer relocated to a 100-acre property
approximately an hour's drive from Toronto, and developed it into
the New Lowell Aerodrome.
For
the past few years they have moved onto a bigger and better project,
The Cookstown Airport is only 30
minutes north of Toronto, Ontario; efforts are now spent on the development
of this new specialized
site
that is closer to the majority of their customers. The 'Chow'
family have moved Skydive Toronto to a new home in Ontario! A home that promises more
growth and exciting opportunities.
Those who seek adventurous
and thrilling activities at Skydive Toronto are also drawn to
the enjoyment of a weekend in the scenic country with numerous
attractions.
In close driving proximity are:
Blue Mountain Resorts, Scenic Caves, Wasaga Beach and The Bruce Trail.

the past decade and now operates the largest number of jump aircraft in Canada,
6 wide-body Cessna 182's. Skydive Toronto is now celebrating
it's 35 year anniversary, having conducted over 180,000 skydives.
